Housing Association Customer Care and New Build Support is NHCC’s new service focussing on the needs of Housing Associations. Not only can we provide a fully outsourced customer care solution to Housing Associations across the UK, but we can also provide them with new build support including investigations and repairs, pre-handover inspections and snagging surveys.
Housing Associations build thousands of good quality new homes a year for sale, for rent, and for affordable home ownership. They are stepping up to fill the demand for 145,000 affordable new homes, including 90,000 for social rent and 25,000 for shared ownership. According to the National Housing Federation ,Housing Associations build 26% of all new homes in England.
Here at NHCC we understand the challenges of managing sites with multiple types of ownership and rental arrangements and can tailor our services to meet the specific demands of any Housing Association development.
Affordable homes require good customer care and new build support, the same as any other new build homes. Housing Associations play a key role in their communities. Many provide homes for people with different needs including older people, those with disabilities and for people who have been homeless. Housing Associations also build local partnerships to support the growth of local economies, this includes regeneration projects and support for local businesses. Many provide help with employment and skills through training and apprenticeships.
