The New Homes Ombudsman, which was promised in the Queen’s Speech 2019, will be expected to take “swift action” to resolve problems.  Homebuilders will be forced to sign up to the Ombudsman register.

From 1st March 2021 Reverse Charge VAT regulations for contractors registered in the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) are in force. In summary, main contractors (such as NHCC) will stop paying VAT to subcontractors.
